A big day...

Well, Little Miss Lyla Lu is 8 months old today and it has been quite a day for her. She FINALLY said "mama" this morning, while taking her 8 month pictures learned to stand up (without pulling up on anything, I was taking still pics with my camera and she wouldn't do it again for the video camera) and she learned to clap...that one I actually caught on video...

Girls day

The girls and I had a "girls day" when the boys went to see the Carolina game

First we went to 5 Guys



Then to Claire's where Ella would run and say "close your eyes, I have a surprise" and would then pose for me :)











Even Lyla had to get in on the action and try a hat on


Lyla loved the babies at a toy store we went in



After the toy store we went to Costco and had some frozen yogurt. Ella said "this is the best girls day ever, I love spending time with you".....awesome how easily entertained they are at this age, isn't it?

Crawling

Who knows if this will work...I'm not hopeful, and if it doesn't I will try tomorrow again from my iPad and post a link to the YouTube site. I forgot how stinking cute it is to watch a baby crawl. Ella only only crawled for a couple weeks before she gave it up for walking, I'm hoping that Lyla gives me a couple good months of crawling :)
