Fun in the sun

One day during Spring Break we took the ferry over to Southport, had a picnic by the water, walked through town and got some ice cream, then rode the ferry back and hung out on the beach for a while. It was a great day and makes me very excited that summer is just around the corner! Please be prepared for picture overload, I was having a hard time narrowing them down!

Lyla really enjoyed sitting and watching all the birds fly around, she was lucky she didn't get pooped on....Tripp wasn't so lucky!


Ella loved to chase the birds, until once when she was holding a potato chip and a whole flock chased her, it was hilarious!

When dad showed up with that hat and sunglasses Lyla looked at him very suspicious for several seconds. He took them off and she saw it was him, she then smiled really big and starting clapping and reaching for him; it was sooo cute!
