Ella's Fall party

We went to Ella's class for her little party and the festival in the gym.

Notice Lyla's face, she was pretty skeptical of the little girl sitting across from her, I think she was worried she was going to try and swipe one of her apple slices (poor 4th child)


Notice the frosting on her mouth from the cupcake that Ella gave her (she made quite the scene when I took the remaining cupcake away and cleaned her up so we could go to the festival part)


I hate that I couldn't get my phone out faster and tape the whole song (this was right after the "scene" that Lyla caused that I was talking about)

The girls favorite station, until I had to remove Lyla from it because she started slinging water at anyone who tried to get "her" balls. (she fell asleep shortly after we got in the car and woke up in a MUCH better mood!)

15 months going on 15 years...

A couple weeks ago we were at one of Jaxon's games at the ball field. I had gotten Lyla a small cup of water with a lid and a straw to play with from the concession stand. She drank it and played with the straw for a little bit and then decided she was going to spit the water all over the place (mainly on me). I told her to stop, she did it again. I told her if she did it one more time I was pouring her water out. She did it again and ran away as fast as she could, I chased after her and grabbed her cup and poured out the water. She gave me her token "I want to rip your face off" look and marched over to the concession stand, glaring at me the whole way, and stood under the window screaming "wa wa, wa wa, wa wa pleeeease!"

She was just going to order herself another cup of water.

I dread her teenage years.

Nap time

It's only 11:30am but apparently Lyla is ready for her nap...right in the middle of Walmart!
